METCO Partnership

The Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity, Inc. is the largest and second-longest continuously running voluntary school desegregation program in the country, and a national model for the few other voluntary desegregation busing programs currently in existence. 

Avela is thrilled to be partnering with METCO to further family empowerment and equity through software that empowers schools, districts, and families.

We'll be supporting families to research and select the right school for their children through Avela Explore, and ensuring families have an easeful experience in submitting school applications and through the registration process through Avela Apply.

We are excited to help METCO have processes that are more efficient and personalized, giving students and families a smoother experience!
