Avela Named Winner in The EdTech Awards 2026 for Enrollment & Admissions Solution
Avela also earned finalist recognition for Early Childhood Solution, and Co-founder & CEO Greg Bybee was named a finalist in the Visionary category.
Avela is proud to announce that The Avela Suite has been named the winner in the Enrollment & Admissions Solution category in The EdTech Awards 2026, presented by EdTech Digest. Avela was also recognized as a finalist in Early Childhood Solution for Avela for Coordinated PreK, and Greg Bybee, Co-founder & CEO of Avela, was named a finalist in the Visionary category.
Now in its 16th year, The EdTech Awards is described by EdTech Digest as the world’s largest recognition program for education technology, honoring innovators, leaders, and trendsetters shaping the future of learning across K-12, higher education, and workforce sectors.
This year’s recognition is especially meaningful for Avela. While the company has been named a finalist in past years, 2026 marks the first time Avela has been named a winner in its category. Avela earned top honors alongside a competitive field of finalists in the Enrollment & Admissions Solution category.
“Congratulations to The EdTech Awards 2026 finalists and winners! We’re no longer asking if technology will transform learning—it already has. The leaders honored here are defining what comes next,” said Victor Rivero, Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, who oversees the program.
For Avela, this recognition reflects a continued commitment to helping education leaders build smarter, more equitable enrollment systems and stronger pathways for families from first touch through registration and beyond.
“We’re honored to be recognized by EdTech Digest as the winner for Enrollment & Admissions Solution,” said Greg Bybee, Co-founder & CEO of Avela. “This award reflects the trust our partners place in us and the incredible work our team has done to help education organizations modernize enrollment, improve access, and better serve families.”
The recognition for Avela for Coordinated PreK as an Early Childhood Solution finalist further highlights the breadth of Avela’s platform and its impact across different stages of the learner journey.
According to EdTech Digest, this year’s finalists and winners were judged on criteria including pedagogical workability, efficacy and results, support, clarity, value, and potential.
